Gemini Spark is not in this directory, and the reason is the whole definition

Google's always-on personal agent connects to Gmail, Drive and Calendar. Its own page does not claim it drives a browser or a computer.

Gemini Spark is Google's personal agent: it works in the background on tasks you assign, runs when your devices are off, and connects to Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, YouTube and Maps, all off by default. It is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers over 18 in select countries, plus some business users.

It is not listed here. Google's own page describes Spark connecting to applications through their interfaces for software, not operating them through the interface built for a person — and this directory tracks the second thing. Chrome's auto browse, a separate Google feature, is the one that drives a browser.

We are flagging the call rather than making it silently, because this is the boundary that decides what the directory is. The same reasoning kept ChatGPT Work out in July. The test is not how capable the agent is, or whether it is agentic — it is whether it reads a screen and moves a pointer. If Google documents Spark as driving a browser itself, it goes in.
