Computer use and browser use land on Google Cloud

Both toolsets reached Vertex the day after leaving beta, for all five supported Claude models.

The day after Claude Computer Use and Claude Browser Use left beta, both toolsets became available on Google Cloud for Claude Fable 5, Mythos 5, Opus 5, Sonnet 5 and Opus 4.8.

This closes a gap worth noting, because it is the exception rather than the rule. Computer use is documented on the Claude API, Claude Platform on AWS, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry — but outside the Claude API and Google Cloud, those platforms still offer only the earlier beta tool versions. Browser use is narrower still: Claude API and Google Cloud only.

If your deployment is on Bedrock or Foundry, the toolset you can actually call is not the one the documentation leads with.
